I’m Eleanore.
she/they
I’m a Vancouver-based photographer and writer who has dreams of becoming a nature videographer. Sharing my love of nature with others is the goal of many of my projects, and I firmly believe that truth is stranger than fiction, and that the world holds so many incredible truths.
My photography focuses on nature and wildlife, and is inspired by portra film and childhood memories in the woods. I love photos with texture and sunlight. It’s my goal to photograph orcas off the coast of British Columbia and moose in the forests of Alaska.
When I’m not in the woods with my camera I’m at my desk writing articles for my environmental newsletter, archaeological essays, or SFF stories. After years of depression and long Covid, relearning how to write has become a constant effort, but I love getting to dedicate myself to perfecting my craft.
The rest of my time is taking up by my university studies, where I’m learning to be an archaeologist, specializing in the history Turtle Island.
I’m committed to being a lifelong learner, and I’m always striving to learn more, listen to my community, and challenge myself. I’m excited to have you on the journey with me!
